The 4. Liga - Divizie D in Czech-Republic was founded in 1993 and is the fourth tier of professional football in the country. It is organized by the Football Association of the Czech Republic (FAČR). The league consists of 16 teams, divided into two divisions of eight teams each. The teams play each other twice, home and away, for a total of 30 matches each season. The two division winners are promoted to the 3. Liga, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the 5. Liga.
The first season of the 4. Liga - Divizie D in Czech-Republic was played in 1993 and was won by FC Vysočina Jihlava. They were followed by FC Hradec Králové, who won the league in 1994. Since then, the league has seen many teams come and go, with teams such as FK Pardubice, SK Kladno, and FK Dukla Prague all having spells in the league.
The 4. Liga - Divizie D in Czech-Republic is governed by the FAČR, who are responsible for the organization of the league, the rules and regulations, and the promotion and relegation of teams. The FAČR also appoints referees to officiate matches and oversees the registration of players. The league is also supported by sponsors, who provide financial support to the teams.
The 2022 season of the Czech-Republic’s 4. Liga Divizie D has been off to a great start. On August 6th, 2022, the season kicked off and will last until June 11th, 2023. Currently, 14 teams are competing for the championship, with 182 out of 91 matches already played. The top three teams in the standings are Start Brno with 31 points, Tatran Bohunice and Tatran Bohunice with 27 and 27 points respectively, although there are still 91 matches to be played. The top three teams are separated by only 4 points, so the race for the championship is still wide open. With 91 matches still to be played, anything can happen in the 4. Liga Divizie D.
