National 3 - Group H is a football league in France that was founded in the early 2000s. The league is composed of teams from the regions of Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. It is the fourth tier of the French football league system and is run by the French Football Federation.
The first games in the league were played in the 2002-03 season and the league has grown in size and stature ever since. The league is divided into two divisions, with each division having 10 teams. The teams play a double round-robin format, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams from each division are promoted to the National 2 league, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Regional leagues.
The league is managed by a corporate structure, with a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary-General, and a Treasurer. The President is responsible for the overall management of the league, while the Vice-President is responsible for the day-to-day operations. The Secretary-General is responsible for the administrative duties of the league, while the Treasurer is responsible for the financial management.
National 3 - Group H is an important part of French football and continues to provide an important platform for players to develop their skills and compete at a high level. It is also a great opportunity for teams to gain promotion to higher levels of the French football system.
The 2022 National 3 - Group H France season has officially kicked off on the 27th of August 2022 and will conclude on the 3rd of June 2023. Currently, 14 teams are competing for the championship title, with 182 out of 84 matches already played. The top three teams in the standings are Beziers with 25 points, Stade Beaucairois with 20 points, and Stade Beaucairois with 16 points, with a difference of 9 points between them. However, there are still 98 matches to be played, so the standings could still shift before the end of the season. The National 3 - Group H France competition format consists of 17 teams divided into 12 groups. Each team plays a total of 14 games in the group stage, with the top four teams advancing to the playoff round. The playoff round is a single-elimination tournament, with the winner of the final match being crowned the League Cup, National champion. The standings are determined by the number of points each team accumulates throughout the competition. Points are awarded for wins, draws, and losses, with three points for a win, one point for a draw, and zero points for a loss.
The National 3 - Group H France football league is officially organized by the IFA (International Football Association). The IFA is responsible for the organization of the tournament, including the selection of TV partners for broadcasting the matches.
