The Oberliga Nordost-Süd is a German football league that was founded in 1945. It is the fourth tier of the German football league system and is one of the five Oberligas in Germany. The league is divided into two divisions, Nordost and Süd, with each division containing 18 teams. The teams are then divided into three regional groups. The league is administered by the German Football Association (DFB).
The first games of the league were played in the 1945-46 season, with the first champions being the SG Dynamo Dresden. The league has since seen many changes, with the introduction of the two-division system in 1974 and the introduction of the three-group system in 2000. The league also underwent a major restructuring in 2008, with the two divisions being merged into one.
The Oberliga Nordost-Süd is one of the most successful leagues in Germany, with the champions of the league being promoted to the 3. Liga since 2008. The league also has a rich history of producing some of the top players in Germany, with many of them going on to play for some of the top clubs in Europe.
The 2022 Oberliga - Nordost-Süd Germany season officially kicked off on August 5th, 2022 and will conclude on June 11th, 2023. So far, 18 teams have competed in 306 out of 135 matches. The top three teams in the standings are currently separated by just two points. Eilenburg currently holds the top spot with 29 points, followed by Bischofswerdaer FV and Bischofswerdaer FV with 27 points each. However, there are still 171 matches to be played, so the standings could change drastically. It will be interesting to see how the competition plays out over the course of the season, as the top three teams are currently neck and neck. Who will come out on top? We’ll have to wait and see.The Oberliga NOFV Süd is a German football competition that has been running since 1991. The teams are placed in one table, with a promotion and relegation system for the best and worst-performing teams. Each team plays a total of 18 games in one season and the winner is the team that has the most points at the end of the season. The first edition of the Oberliga NOFV Süd saw FSV Zwickau crowned as the inaugural champions.
The Oberliga Nordost-Süd Germany is home to some impressive stadiums, with VFC Plauen boasting the largest with a total capacity of 10,500. During the 21/22 season, the total attendance across the league was 23,243, giving an average attendance per game of 158.
The Oberliga - Nordost-Süd Germany is officially organized by the Nordostdeutscher Fußball-Verband (NOFV). The NOFV is responsible for the administration and organization of the league, as well as the promotion of football in the region. The league also has several TV partners, including Sport1, Sportdeutschland.TV, and MagentaSport, who broadcast matches and provide coverage of the league.
