The Campionato Primavera - 2 is a football league in Italy that was founded in the summer of 2007. It is a youth football league, featuring teams from all over Italy, and is the second division of the Campionato Primavera. The first game in the league was played on August 10th, 2007 between the teams of Roma Primavera and Lazio Primavera, with Roma Primavera emerging victorious.
The league is divided into two divisions, the North and the South, with each division having 16 teams. The teams compete in a round-robin format, with the top four teams from each division advancing to the playoffs. The playoffs consist of a two-legged semi-final and a one-legged final, with the winner of the final being crowned the Campionato Primavera - 2 champion. The champion of the league is then promoted to the Campionato Primavera, the top division of Italian youth football.
The Campionato Primavera - 2 is organized by the Lega Nazionale Professionisti, the governing body of Italian professional football. The league is sponsored by Nike and is broadcast on the Sky Italia network. The league is highly competitive, with teams from all over Italy competing for the championship.
The 2022 Campionato Primavera - 2 Italy season has kicked off on 2022-09-10 and will come to an end on 2023-05-13. Sixteen teams are competing for the championship and 480 out of 224 matches have already been played. At the moment, the top three teams are separated by only four points. Genoa U19 is leading the standings with 26 points, followed by Parma U19 and Parma U19 with 23 and 22 points respectively. However, there are still 256 matches to be played, so the battle for the top spot is far from over. The upcoming matches will be crucial for each of these teams, as the final standings could look completely different by the end of the season. It promises to be an exciting season, and we can’t wait to see who will come out on top!The Lega Nazionale Professionisti A (LNPA) is the official organization in charge of the Campionato Primavera - 2 Italy qualifying tournament and manages sponsorship rights. The LNPA has partnered with several television networks to broadcast the tournament, including Sky Italia, RAI, and Mediaset.
