Football has been a beloved sport in Jordan for many years, with the first recorded game taking place in the early 1900s. The game quickly grew in popularity, and in 1950, the Jordanian Football Association (JFA) was founded to regulate and promote the sport. The JFA is the governing body for football in Jordan and is responsible for the organization of the national team, the Jordanian League, and other competitions.
The Jordanian League was founded in 1976 and is the top division of the JFA. It consists of 12 teams that compete in a double round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier League and the First Division. The Premier League is the highest division and is made up of the best teams in the country. The First Division is made up of teams that have been relegated from the Premier League or promoted from the lower divisions.
The Jordanian national team has been competing in international competitions since the 1950s. They have had some success, most notably reaching the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup in 2004. The team has also participated in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers several times, but have yet to qualify for the tournament.
Football in Jordan continues to grow in popularity and the JFA is working hard to ensure that the sport is accessible to everyone. The JFA is also working to improve the quality of football in the country and to ensure that the national team is competitive on the international stage.

His teammate, Ali Al-Hassan, was also impressive, providing 8 assists throughout the season. Overall, the 2022 League Jordan season was a thrilling one, with the title race going down to the wire. Al Faisaly’s success was well-deserved, and they will be hoping to defend their title in the upcoming season. The Jordan League was first established in 1944, with Al-Faisaly being crowned the inaugural champions. The competition is divided into three tables, with teams being promoted and relegated based on their performance. Each team plays a total of 134 games in a season, with the team with the most points at the end of the season being crowned the champion. The top three teams qualify for the AFC Cup main tournament or preliminary qualifications.
