The Pro League in United-Arab-Emirates was founded in 2007 with the aim of providing a professional football league for clubs in the country. The league was established by the UAE Football Association and is now managed by the UAE Professional League Company (UPL).
The first season of the Pro League began in 2008, with eight teams competing for the title. The teams were Al Ain, Al Dhafra, Al Jazira, Al Nasr, Al Shabab, Al Wahda, Emirates Club and Sharjah. The first season was won by Al Ain, who went on to become the most successful team in the league’s history.
The Pro League has since grown to include 12 teams, with the addition of Al Ahli, Baniyas, Hatta, and Khorfakkan in 2011. The league is now structured into two divisions, the Arabian Gulf League and the Arabian Gulf Cup. The top four teams in the Arabian Gulf League qualify for the AFC Champions League, while the bottom four teams in the Arabian Gulf League are relegated to the Arabian Gulf Cup.
The Pro League is managed by the UPL, which is responsible for the organization and promotion of the league. The UPL also oversees the development of the game in the UAE, with a focus on youth development and grassroots football. The UPL works in partnership with the UAE Football Association and the UAE Football League.

During the 21/22 season of the Arabian Gulf League, the highest attendance per game was 18,103, which was during the match between Al Ain and Sharjah. The total attendance for the season was 84,848, with an average attendance per game of 464.
The Premier Football League of Trinidad-And-Tobago has Acts25 as its largest TV partner. The official organization in charge of the league is the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA). The TTFA is responsible for the organization and management of the league, as well as the promotion of football in the country.
